At By Royal Decree Couture (aka ByRD Wear), every garment is custom-printed to order. Because we do not maintain a warehouse of pre-manufactured stock, our return and refund processes differ from standard off-the-rack retailers. Please review our policy below before completing your purchase.

1. Legal Disclaimer

Please Note: This Return & Refund Policy establishes the contractual agreement between By Royal Decree Couture and its customers regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds. The terms outlined herein are designed to comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and California state e-commerce laws regarding custom-made and print-on-demand merchandise. This document is for operational use and does not replace formal legal counsel. By completing a purchase on our Wix storefront, you explicitly agree to these terms.

2. Refund Policy — The Basics (Print-On-Demand)

Because ByRD Wear utilizes a print-on-demand production model via Printful, production begins the moment your order is processed through Wix. A unique item is created specifically for you.

All Sales Are Final: Under most standard circumstances, all sales are considered final once production begins.
No Buyer's Remorse Returns: Because items cannot be restocked or resold to another customer, we cannot accommodate returns or refunds simply because you changed your mind or no longer want the item.
Manufacturing Defects: If an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective due to a Printful manufacturing error, we will gladly issue a no-cost replacement. You must notify us with photographic proof within the designated timeframe.

3. Accommodations, Special Circumstances & Legal Compliance

While all sales are generally final, we believe in treating our community like royalty. We understand that mistakes happen such as accidentally ordering the wrong size. We will make every fair effort to provide an appropriate accommodation on a case-by-case basis under the following strict conditions.

The Accommodation Clause

If your request is approved for a special accommodation, you will be eligible for a replacement item or a full online store credit, subject to the following rules:

Garment Condition: The item must be completely unworn, clean, entirely free of stains, marks, odors, or damage.
Fee Deductions: Because third-party platforms charge non-refundable operational costs, your credit or replacement value will be issued minus any applicable fulfillment, shipping, and platform transaction fees incurred by Wix and Printful.
